Fall 2008 Newsletter (pdf)
EyeSight Hawaii enjoyed another year of correcting people’s vision and we would like to say a heartfelt Mahalo to all of our patients.
The readers of the Star-Bulletin and MidWeek again voted us one of Hawaii’s Best LASIK Eye Centers and we were also awarded the Best of Honolulu Award for Laser Surgery. We are very proud of these two awards that recognize our committment to the best eye care for our patients and thank you all for your support.
Part of what makes EyeSight Hawaii stand out is our committment to offering our patients the latest technology. In this newsletter you’ll read about The Crystalens HD™ technology that we brought to Hawaii and about Dr. Louie’s continuing work with hard to fi t contact lenses.
I also had the opportunity to continue my community involvement. I was invited to speak to both the public and other physicians and I again sponsored our annual Hawaii Future Physicians Symposium and Scholarship (more details inside).
Please enjoy our newsletter and as always we wish you “Vision for Life”.

Summer 2007 Newsletter (pdf)
EyeSight Hawaii is now in its 9th year of providing the highest quality eye care to the people of Hawaii. I am grateful for all of the kind words about Eyesight Hawaii that you have shared with your family and friends. The greatest compliment a surgeon can receive is when patients refer their family and friends.
In this newsletter, you will read about a new full-focus implant lens for cataract surgery and a new contact lens that combines the great vision of a hard lens with the comfort of a soft lens. In addition, I will describe some ways to keep your eyes safe and healthy. We want you to enjoy “Vision for Life.”

Aloha!
Mahalo for the many kind words about EyeSight Hawaii that you have shared with your family and friends. These “word of mouth” referrals continue to be the most common reason that patients come in to see us. As always, we will take very good care of each and every patient. Personalized care and the latest in technology is our highest mission. Please enjoy our latest newsletter and pass it along to someone who you think may enjoy the benefits and freedom of vision correction surgery.

Summer 2000 Newsletter (pdf)
Spring 2000 has marked some special milestones for EyeSight Hawaii. In April, EyeSight Hawaii completed its expansion into a spacious new facility. We are excited about our new laser surgery center where we can continue to offer the highest standard quality of care but now in a more comfortable and convenient setting. This center is specifically designed to house our state of the art surgical and diagnostic equipment where now, for added convenience, we perform evening and weekend procedures and evaluations. Our new location offers plenty of convenient validated parking and easy access from the H-1 freeway.
We want you to SEE THE DIFFERENCE.
Mahalo,
John Olkowski, MD
